Welcome to FlicksPicks. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the FlicksPicks platform, including any beta features, content, and services (collectively, the "Platform").

By creating an account or using FlicksPicks, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use FlicksPicks. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2. Beta Access

FlicksPicks may offer pre-release or beta features. These features are provided for testing purposes only, may be incomplete or contain errors, and may be modified or discontinued at any time without notice.

3. Use of Platform

FlicksPicks is a fantasy film league platform where users can create leagues, join competitions, and interact with scoring systems based on film performance. You agree to use the Platform only for its intended purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree that you will not:

- Manipulate, exploit, or interfere with scoring systems, rankings, or gameplay mechanics
- Use bots, scripts, or automated systems to gain an unfair advantage
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
- Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or harmful behavior toward other users or FlicksPicks

5. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Platform—including but not limited to its design, features, functionality, scoring systems, algorithms, content, branding, and code—are the exclusive property of FlicksPicks.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Platform solely for personal, non-commercial use.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without prior written consent.

6. Confidentiality (Beta Users)

As a beta participant, you may be exposed to non-public features, systems, or information ("Confidential Information").

You agree not to disclose, share, publish, or otherwise make available any Confidential Information to third parties without prior written permission from FlicksPicks.

7. Non-Replication & Competitive Use

You agree that you will not use the Platform or any information obtained from it to develop, assist in developing, or operate any product or service that is competitive with FlicksPicks.

You further agree not to replicate or attempt to replicate the Platform’s features, scoring systems, or gameplay mechanics for commercial purposes.

8. Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant FlicksPicks a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use and incorporate such feedback without restriction or compensation.

9. Termination

FlicksPicks reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FlicksPicks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to Terms

FlicksPicks may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
